Our Commercial
Underwriters are responsible for analyzing the acceptability of small to mid-size business according to company guidelines.
This position is from Monday to Friday with flexible core business hours (37.5 hours/week). Perform risk analysis using GuideWire as well as external data sources for the purposes of quoting, negotiating, and authorizing the acceptance of risk.
Determine eligibility for policy renewals based on guidelines and retention goals of the company. Maintain accurate records of decisions made and maintain completeness of policy data. Assist with interpretation of rating procedures, wordings, underwriting policies and regulations.
Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external parties, including networking at industry events. Able to communicate in French (spoken and written).
Chartered Insurance
