37265-Argonaut Gold - PL | 37265 2 Sawmill Road Travel Required : Yes As a Production Chef , you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating assigned kitchen, food production and food-service associates. Be responsible for occasional catering events Ensure all health and safety policies are followed Perform administrative duties that include completion of weekly purchase summaries, scheduling associates for events, inventory Direct and supervise all aspects of food production and services Plan production, delegate tasks and manage kitchen staff Control and recycle surplus production Assist with assessment of food requirements according to the menu and inventory, ordering the necessary commodities according to operational standards Complete production sheets and/or register Control the quality of commodities as soon as they arrive and rotate the stock Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and safety standards 3 years of foodservice or related management experience in high volume, food production environment ~ Red Seal Certificate and experience working in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
preferred ~ Food Safe Certification ~ Advanced Food Safe or Red Seal certification is an asset ~ Creative ability to apply trendy food items and presentations to operations ~ Solid knowledge of hygiene and occupational health and safety standards ~ Customer service oriented and strong communication skills ~ Capable of performing administrative duties ~ Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word ~ Willingness to accommodate a versatile work schedule (including weekends) Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test Pass a Criminal Record Check Shift: 10hr/Day Rotation: 20 Days on/ 10 Days off ESS Canada is committed to building meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities and supporting inclusive employment opportunities.
