Job Summary
We are looking to add a few more members to our framing crew. We are mainly building multifamily buildings in and around the Edmonton area with a focus on safety and quality. We are looking for a range of skill levels from multiple years to no experience.
Hours are weather dependent but generally Monday to Friday 7:00-4:00 with optional overtime and weekends. We provide benefits that begin after the first 3 months. Tool pouch and basic hand tools are required, all other tools provided.
Must have a vehicle and be able to drive to jobsites in and around the Edmonton area.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble walls, roofs, and floors using wood.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during construction tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work setting while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, and drills.
- Experience with power tools including nail guns, sanders, and concrete mixers.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective project execution.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
