Responsibilities

- Provides a warm and connected experience as the guests first point of contact at Harold’s Kitchen & Bar
- Checks a minimum of two pieces of ID for any customer ordering alcoholic beverages
- Makes recommendations for guests regarding menu options and utilizes sales techniques to maximize sales
- Ensures all orders are entered in Micros accurately, noting any substitutions, requests or allergies
- Performs quality check with guests within 5 minutes of serving food
- Responsible for cash float and ensures all cash-handling procedures are diligently followed
- Processes orders and payment for guests who request dine out options
- Prepares restaurant for next meal service
- Takes ownership of guest complaints, finding creative ways to resolve guest concerns in a timely order
- Performs other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday between 6:00am to 3:00pm.



Availability to work other shifts throughout the week is an asset
- 2 years of previous serving experience required
- Good English and communication skills
- Relevant education an asset
- Must have a Serving It Right certificate and be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Can handle pressure and urgency
