Responsibilities

- Greet guests promptly with a welcoming attitude and assist them in seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow all food safety protocols during food preparation and serving to uphold health regulations

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong knowledge of the food industry
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering tasks
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate billing and cash handling
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a rapid-paced hospitality setting
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus but not required
