Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused, and energetic team member to join our dynamic retail environment. This unique role combines three fast-paced environments under one roof: a neighborhood convenience store, a specialized vape shop, and an authorized Canada Post outlet.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Assist customers in locating products and offering knowledgeable recommendations, especially in technology sales and related categories
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts issuance
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure products are organized, appealing, and well-stocked for optimal sales opportunities
- Upsell complementary products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area while adhering to store policies on cash handling and safety procedures
- Handle phone inquiries professionally,



providing information on products or store services with excellent phone etiquette

Qualifications

- Must be 19 years of age or older (mandatory for handling vape products).
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly explain product features
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light-to-moderate boxes (up to 30 lbs).
- Gas station and convenience store experience is a plus!
