852 Kitchen specializes in frozen Hong Kong-style dim sum, ready-to-eat dishes, pastries, desserts, and other ready-to-cook products. Our products are locally made in our own production facility by our chefs, ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and authentic flavours.

We currently operate four retail locations across Metro Vancouver — Richmond, Joyce-Collingwood, Cambie, and Coquitlam — serving local communities and the Asian market. As we continue to grow and expand, we are excited to welcome new team members to the 852 Kitchen team.

Job Summary

We are looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking Retail Store Staff to join our team. The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, assist with daily store operations, maintain product quality and presentation, and help ensure a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Assist customers with product information and recommendations
- Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
- Stock, organize, and replenish products on shelves and in freezers
- Receive, check, and organize merchandise and deliveries
- Rotate products according to FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
- Check product dates, labels, packaging, and overall product quality
- Pack and prepare customer orders as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, shelves, freezers, and work areas
- Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, and workplace safety procedures
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced retail workplace
- Assist with inventory counts and other store duties as required




- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Qualifications and Skills

- No previous retail experience required; training will be provided
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, food service, or a related environment is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, responsible, punctual, and positive
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting and moving products weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Able to work in a refrigerated or freezer environment when required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude
- FoodSafe certification is an asset

Working Hours & Pay

- Hourly Wage: $19.00 per hour
- Shifts are scheduled Monday through Sunday
- Typical shifts are between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is an asset
- Flexible scheduling may be available depending on store requirements
