Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town. This full-time seasonal position focuses on daily operations, mountain set up/tear down, team performance, and the delivery of a safe, effective, and skilled patrol operation throughout the winter season. Support the strategic planning and execution of day-to-day patrol operations to ensure a safe and successful season.

Monitor evolving risks, weather, terrain and snow conditions, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Assist in the development and delivery of patrol training and staff development programs. Contribute to the resort's safety manuals, emergency procedures, and operational planning.

Contribute to seasonal hiring, team structure, scheduling, and budget accountability. Recognize risk & be an active risk manager of resort facilities,



programs & activities Delivery of Patrol related staff training Travel in and possibly respond to incidents outside the ski area boundary lifts, trails, area facilities and services, operating hours, current events, and programs Caters to guest needs, answer questions and handles complaints in an efficient, courteous and helpful manner. Work eligibility in Canada – can provide work permit High school graduate Canadian Avalanche Association Operations Level 2 preferred Workers Compensation Board Blasting Certificate for Avalanche Control Blasting preferred, Hand, Helicopter, and Cornice endorsements preferred.

Natural Resources Security Approval

Letter for high explosives Able to work in early morning hours and for extended periods. Recognizes the cause of risks and is familiar with current industry risk control measures.
