Robotics & Automation Sales Manager

Alberta | Full-Time | Travel Throughout Western Canada

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, high-performing Robotics & Automation Sales Manager to grow our commercial automation business across Western Canada.

Our initial focus is autonomous equipment for commercial turf maintenance and facility cleaning—including robotic mowers and intelligent cleaning machines—for golf courses, municipalities, landscaping contractors, property managers, sports facilities, institutional clients, and large commercial sites.

This is a market-building role for a salesperson who can create demand, run demonstrations, build relationships, and close complex equipment sales.

The Role

You will lead business development and sales for our robotics and automation division by:

- Prospecting and developing new commercial accounts across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and other Western Canadian markets
- Identifying applications where autonomous equipment can reduce labour requirements, improve consistency, extend operating hours, and lower operating costs
- Conducting site assessments, equipment demonstrations, and customer presentations
- Selling the business case for automation through practical ROI, labour-saving, productivity, safety, and operational-efficiency analysis
- Preparing proposals, quotations, financing or rental-purchase options, and sales agreements
- Managing opportunities from first contact through delivery, onboarding, and follow-up
- Building relationships with golf courses, municipalities, landscape contractors, facility-service providers, property managers, contractors, and institutional customers
- Developing dealer, referral, and strategic-partnership opportunities
- Attending trade shows, field demonstrations, industry events, and customer meetings

- Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and opportunity plans
- Working with internal operations, service, and marketing teams to ensure strong customer outcomes

Ideal Candidate You are a hunter and relationship builder—not someone looking to inherit an existing book of business.

The right candidate will have:

- Proven success in B2B sales, business development, equipment sales, technology sales, or commercial services
- The ability to understand a customer’s operation, diagnose a problem, and clearly present a practical solution
- Experience selling equipment, technology, automation, fleet solutions, landscaping equipment, construction equipment, facility equipment, or other technical products is an asset
- Confidence conducting demonstrations and presenting to owners, operators, executives, municipalities, and procurement teams
- Solid prospecting, cold-calling, networking, negotiation, and closing skills
- The ability to explain ROI, labour savings, productivity gains, and total cost of ownership in straightforward commercial terms
- Comfort learning technical products, including autonomous navigation, sensors, charging systems, software, remote monitoring, and fleet-management tools
- Strong organization, CRM discipline, and ability to manage a long-cycle sales pipeline
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- A self-directed, professional, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset

- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Western Canada

Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, engineering, agriculture, technology, or a related field is preferred, but demonstrated sales ability and commercial judgment matter most.

Why This Role

Commercial automation is moving rapidly from early adoption to practical deployment. Autonomous mowers can support golf courses, sports fields, campuses, parks, and large properties through precision navigation, multi-zone operation, autonomous charging, and lower-emission turf maintenance.

Autonomous cleaning equipment also creates a compelling labour-efficiency and consistency opportunity for large indoor facilities, with machines capable of sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing while using LiDAR and visual navigation for complex environments.

The successful candidate will have a meaningful opportunity to help shape our market strategy, target customers, sales process, partner network, and long-term automation business.

Compensation

- Competitive base salary
- Significant performance-based commission
- Bonus opportunities tied to sales and business growth
- Company support for demonstrations, marketing, trade shows, and customer development
- Business travel expenses covered
- Advancement opportunity as the automation division expands

If you are an intelligent, competitive salesperson who enjoys technology, understands commercial operations, and wants to build a new market rather than simply manage one, we want to hear from you. Apply with your resume and a short note explaining why you are the right person to help build our Robotics & Automation business.

Pay: $70,000.00-$151,820.81 per year
