Responsibilities

- Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver waste containers to designated disposal sites
- Ensure timely collection of debris and waste materials from various job sites
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Load and unload waste containers, often requiring heavy lifting and physical effort
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe operation at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and any operational issues

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery, pickup, and transportation of waste bins, aggregates, soil, mulch, and other materials to residential, commercial, and construction sites. This role requires a safety-conscious professional with excellent driving skills, strong customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate roll-off trucks safely to deliver and pick up waste bins
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure bins are placed and removed safely without damage to customer property
- Secure loads properly before transportation




- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and disposal tickets
- Follow all MTO regulations, company safety procedures, and traffic laws
- Keep truck clean and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Provide professional customer service on all job sites

Mandatory Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license (Ontario)
- Clean driver’s abstract and driving record
- Minimum 2 years of roll-off truck or heavy truck driving experience
- Knowledge of MTO safety and transportation regulations
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and punctuality
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment when required
- Professional attitude and customer service skills
- Must be dependable and safety-focused

Qualifications
- Experience in waste management, bin rental, or aggregate delivery
- Familiarity with Durham Region, Newcastle, Oshawa, Ajax, and surrounding areas
- Experience operating hook-lift or roll-off systems
- Previous construction site delivery experience
