Krown Rust Control Saint John is hiring several Rustproofing Applicators (Spray Technicians) to join our fast-paced team.

This hands-on role is responsible for applying Krown rust protection to customer vehicles while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The focus of this position is on accurate product application and quality workmanship, working alongside support staff to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Rustproofing Application

- Apply Krown rust protection products using spray equipment.
- Follow Krown application procedures and standards.
- Ensure complete and consistent coverage of all required vehicle areas.
- Perform touch-ups and final quality checks before vehicle release.
- Inspect vehicles during and after application to ensure workmanship meets Krown standards.
- Identify and correct missed areas or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail on every vehicle.

Equipment & Product Handling
- Operate spray equipment safely and effectively.
- Clean and maintain spray equipment and tools daily.
- Clean and maintain spray bay areas.
- Monitor product usage and report low inventory levels.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of rustproofing products.

Health & Safety




- Follow all PPE and safety protocols at all times.
- Handle products according to safety guidelines and WHMIS standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe spray area.
- Report any hazards or equipment issues immediately.

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform physical work (standing, bending, repetitive movement).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Preferred Experience (but not required)
- Automotive, mechanical, or hands-on labour experience.
- Experience using spray equipment or similar tools.
- Familiarity with shop environments and safety practices.

Work Environment
- Fast-paced automotive shop setting.
- Exposure to rustproofing products and equipment.
- Physically active role requiring consistent movement.

Training
- All Krown training & certification is provided.
- WHMIS training provided.

Employment Details This is a full-time seasonal position, beginning now and lasting approximately 15-20 weeks, with hours scheduled Monday to Friday (day shift), and Saturday mornings. This role is ideal for candidates seeking steady work during Krown’s busiest months, with potential for future seasonal opportunities.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
