Position Description

As a Trucking Safety Person, you will be responsible for maintaining driver applications, truck and trailer applications, maintenance tracking, and other transportation-related safety requirements.

You will work independently while demonstrating strong communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of trucking safety, compliance, and maintenance procedures. You will communicate with drivers, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that safety and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Location : - Guelph , Ontario

Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain driver applications and related documentation.
- Maintain all driver, tractor and trailer files.
- IRP Licensing / Renewals.
- Managing, processing and auditing driver logs.
- Follow up on any outstanding discrepancies




- Other duties as assigned.
- Present a positive company image in all internal and external contacts.

Requirements
- 1 year of experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
- A strong customer service background.
- Assertiveness, confidence, enthusiasm, and exceptional work ethics
- Ability to work independently and in small teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word.
- Detail orientated and positive communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels including drivers and upper management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
