Ritchie's Flooring is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our Flooring Sales Representatives while ensuring our clients receive exceptional service from the initial inquiry through project completion.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients in our showroom and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist the Flooring Sales Representatives with day-to-day project administration and coordination.
- Complete material takeoffs from construction drawings.
- Prepare accurate quotations for clients.
- Process and place material orders with suppliers.
- Coordinate and track orders to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and projects when the Sales Executive is away.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers,
installers, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and update internal systems.
- Support the sales process from initial inquiry through project completion.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and French (bilingual is required).
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, project coordination, or a related administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software.
- Experience reading construction drawings is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in flooring, construction, building materials, or a related industry is an asset.
- Customer service driven with a passion for creating positive client experiences.
