Duties

- Measure, cut, and assemble fabric pieces according to design specifications and patterns
- Operate industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching tools with precision to create durable, high-quality products
- Inspect finished items for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments or repairs to garments as needed to ensure perfect fit and finish
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for all sewing equipment




- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding project timelines or special requests

Experience

- Proven experience as a seamstress or in a similar sewing role, demonstrating strong craftsmanship
- Basic math skills for measuring fabric accurately and calculating dimensions
- Customer service experience is a plus, especially when interacting with clients or addressing special requests
- Familiarity with various sewing techniques, stitches, and machine operations
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under deadlines
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing flawless finished products
