Role Description A full-time, remote role for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing key accounting functions while providing financial insight and support across a diverse portfolio of clients.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to look beyond the numbers to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes




- Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
- Review bookkeeping and accounting work for accuracy and compliance
- Assist clients with accounting, financial, and operational matters
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls
- Analyze business performance and provide actionable financial insights
- Support tax preparation and year-end reporting requirements
- Work directly with clients and management to resolve accounting issues
- Assist with developing scalable accounting processes as clients grow
- Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff when required

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or progress toward a CPA designation preferred
- 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently
