From our headquarters in Frankfurt, we power global investment products across ETFs, structured products, and mandates. Our reputation is built on innovation, speed, flexibility, and strong partnerships.
Job Overview
The best client relationships are built on trust, responsiveness, and consistent execution. As a Senior Associate in Equity Index Client Operations (EICO), you will be a key partner to Solactive’s global institutional clients, owning their experience across onboarding, daily operations, and complex index-related requests. You’ll combine client relationship management, analytical problem-solving, and technological innovation to solve challenges, improve processes, and deliver a seamless client experience. You’ll help shape how Solactive delivers value by improving processes, automating routine work, and ensuring precise, proactive client interactions.
Your Tasks
- Own client relationships end-to-end, serving as the primary contact for asset managers, investment banks, hedge funds, and trading desks across onboarding, daily file delivery, corporate action announcements, methodology queries, and issue resolution.
- Translate index methodologies and complex corporate action treatments into clear explanations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead client onboarding and technology initiatives, coordinating configuration, testing, implementation, and follow-up.
- Communicate proactively with clients on progress, service updates, and product changes.
- Identify client pain points and propose concrete improvements in process, automation, or service.
- Champion the client perspective internally to improve platforms, communications, and service.
- Document and share knowledge to strengthen processes, team collaboration, and client support.
Your Profile
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field,
or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years in client-facing roles within financial services, fintech, market data, or comparable B2B environments. Customer success, client operations, or implementation backgrounds are highly relevant.
- Strong analytical aptitude: comfortable with data, logic, and structured problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented: you anticipate needs, identify obstacles, and keep initiatives moving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and seek to understand why a question is being asked.
- Demonstrated ownership: you take responsibility for relationships, requests, or projects from initiation through completion and coordinate across teams to drive resolution.
- Comfortable with digital platforms, data products, and technology teams. Advanced Excel required; familiarity with automation tools, APIs, or AI-supported workflows is a plus. Coding is not required, but enthusiasm for learning and leveraging technology is essential.
- Experience in financial services, capital markets, ETFs, or indices is an advantage; curiosity and a genuine interest in financial data and markets are essential.
- Collaborative and internationally minded. You thrive in a team environment where knowledge is shared, feedback is constructive, and everyone contributes to improving how we work.
Our Offer
- Competitive compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary package that reflects your experience, skills,
and contribution to the team.
- Global client exposure: Build relationships with leading financial institutions and investment professionals worldwide.
- Meaningful ownership: Take responsibility for important client relationships and initiatives, with the opportunity to influence how we deliver services.
- Broad business experience: Gain exposure to financial markets, index products, data delivery, technology, and client relationship management.
- Professional growth: Develop a career at the intersection of finance, technology, and client success.
- Learning and development: Access training on index methodology, corporate actions, Solactive tools, automation, and AI-supported workflows.
- International collaboration: Join a global team of approximately 50 nationalities with opportunities to collaborate across Solactive's offices.
- Modern working environment: Flat hierarchy, flexible schedule, hybrid work model, healthcare coverage, modern Toronto office, and regular networking and social events.
