HIRING: Senior Business Analyst – AI & Finance

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 4 days onsite)

AI Product Experience: MANDATORY

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master with solid AI Product and Financial Services experience . The ideal candidate will work closely with trading, risk, treasury, operations, collateral, data, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver AI-driven products and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

- Engage with trading desks, risk, treasury, operations, and collateral teams to gather and analyze requirements

• Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Own end-to-end process mapping for complex workflows, including inputs, transformations, outputs, and dependencies
- Partner with Product Owners and business teams to manage and prioritize the backlog

AI Product & Workflow

• Work on AI-powered products and workflows and translate business requirements into actionable product features

• Design Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) review gates , including analyst review, overrides, and sign-off workflows

- Validate AI/prototype outputs against business requirements and expected outcomes
- Support user adoption and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions

Data & Product Analysis

• Define and maintain data schema and mapping documentation

- Document field definitions, mandatory/optional fields, source hierarchy rules, and controlled vocabularies
- Analyze data to validate requirements, identify trends, and ensure data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to resolve data-quality issues

Agile / Scrum





- Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies
- Define and refine acceptance criteria in collaboration with business teams

• Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)

- Track progress, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement

• Define OKRs and supporting initiatives

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams
- Resolve open design decisions and ensure alignment across multiple projects

• Coordinate UAT, test-case design, validation, and user adoption

- Communicate risks, dependencies, status, and findings to senior stakeholders

Mandatory Skills & Experience

✅ Strong Business Analysis & Agile/Scrum experience

✅ Requirements definition, process mapping, epics, stories & acceptance criteria

✅ Experience designing Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows/review gates

✅ UAT coordination, test-case design & user adoption

✅ Data analysis, data schemas & data mapping

✅ Backlog management and Product Owner collaboration

✅ Strong stakeholder management across business and technology teams

✅ Experience working with Data Engineering / Data Governance teams

✅ Ability to work across multiple projects and navigate complex requirements
