Role Description The Senior Cloud Bookkeeper is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record management for multiple small business clients. This role includes maintaining accurate ledgers, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements within cloud-based accounting platforms.

Qualifications

- Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and managing day-to-day financial records.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Experience with modern accounting software and cloud-based finance tools.
- Knowledge of finance principles and practical experience posting journal entries (accounting).
- Relevant education in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience supporting small businesses and familiarity with basic tax compliance requirements is beneficial.
