We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Dispatcher for our transportation client, to oversee daily transportation operations and support the efficient movement of freight. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, managing dispatch activities, maintaining customer communication, and ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time service delivery. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, problem-solving, and logistics experience in a fast-paced transportation workplace.

Immediate Hire

- Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

- Communicate with drivers, customers, carriers, and suppliers to support successful load execution.

- Monitor driver activity, shipment status,



and route performance using transportation management systems.

- Provide leadership and guidance to dispatch staff while supporting operational priorities.

- Respond to service issues, delays, and operational challenges in a timely manner.

- Maintain accurate records and updates within TMS, PeopleNet, and related systems.

- Support driver safety, regulatory compliance, and company policy adherence.

- Keep customers informed through proactive communication and status updates.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is an asset.

- Minimum 5 years of dispatch experience within a transportation or logistics environment.

- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

- Strong knowledge of transportation operations, fleet management, and industry regulations.

- Experience with transportation software such as TMW, PeopleNet, GPS tracking, or similar systems.

- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
