As a Senior Family Law & Civil Litigation Law Clerk, you will play an integral role in our litigation team.

You will work closely with our lawyers while independently managing files, communicating with clients, preparing court materials, and ensuring matters progress efficiently from commencement through resolution. Minimum three (5) years' experience as a Law Clerk in Ontario, with experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation. Strong knowledge of the Family Law Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, court forms, and Ontario court filing procedures.

Experience preparing pleadings, Applications, Answers, Motions, Affidavits, Financial Statements, Case Conference Briefs, Settlement Conference Briefs, Trial Management Conference Briefs, Trial Records,



and other court materials. Excellent drafting, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software (experience with Clio is considered an asset). Drafting pleadings, court documents, legal correspondence, and litigation materials.

Managing Family

Law and Civil Litigation files from opening to closing. Assisting lawyers with litigation preparation, discoveries, mediations, conferences, and trial preparation. Managing incoming telephone calls and email correspondence. Providing reception coverage and administrative support when required. Assisting with trust and general banking administration in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
