Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java & Apache Spark Developer to design, develop, and support large-scale enterprise applications and distributed data processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Core Java, Apache Spark, SQL, and high-volume data environments, along with the ability to optimize performance and solve complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and distributed processing solutions.
- Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Develop, tune, and support complex SQL queries and database workloads.
- Process and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to code reviews, Agile ceremonies, development standards, and best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Apache Spark.
- Experience building distributed systems and large-scale data processing applications.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix environments and Git.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

The pay range that the employer in valuable faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $27.41/hour - $42.82/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
