Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Podiatrist to lead their foot care clinic in Kimberley . This role involves providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions for diverse patient populations. You will be responsible for clinical assessment, implementing treatment plans, and offering preventative care advice.

This is a key position for a seasoned professional dedicated to improving mobility and quality of life through expert foot care in the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and treat a variety of foot and ankle ailments, including biomechanical disorders, infections, and diabetic foot complications.
- Perform minor surgical procedures on the feet as necessary.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including orthotic prescription and therapeutic exercises.
- Provide specialized care for diabetic patients, focusing on prevention and management of foot-related issues.
- Educate patients on proper foot hygiene, footwear choices, and preventative health measures.




- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a registered Podiatrist.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of podiatric conditions.
- Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures and fitting orthotics.
- Strong understanding of biomechanics, diabetic foot care, and sports injuries.
- Excellent patient assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Registered with the relevant health professions council in South Africa .
