Retailogists

Montreal

Montreal, QC (Old Port) | Full-Time | On-Site

This role is for A players. We're a team that takes the work seriously, pushes for outcomes that actually matter, and doesn't settle for "good enough." If you do your best work in an setting with real ownership, and people who challenge you to be better, then this is the right environment for you.

About Us

Retailogists scales retail businesses as a true growth partner, accountable for measurable business outcomes, not deliverables. We build the strategy, then execute the roadmap ourselves. Our team spans every function that moves the P&L;: sales, marketing, operations, finance, and technology, working as one to drive profitable growth. Alongside our growth partner practice, we build and sell our own tech products (Avia, Orca, Kora, and what’s next), each one born out of a real client problem.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager, Growth to own a book of client accounts within Retailogists’ agency growth partner practice: their P&L;, their billables, and their performance outcomes. This is a service-side role — you manage multiple clients concurrently, each at a different stage of maturity, and you’re accountable for moving their numbers, not just delivering scope.

You’ll set the growth strategy for each account and drive it to results. Where we have specialist teams (paid media, email marketing, web engineering), you brief them, direct them, and hold them to the numbers. Everywhere else, you’re the one doing the work: the CRO program, the customer experience overhaul, the martech stack, the migration plan.

This is a hands-on role, and it stays hands-on as your book grows. You’ll reprioritize as needs shift and make the calls that keep your book profitable and your clients winning, while feeding client-side insight back into our internal product roadmap (Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products).

Responsibilities

- Own a book of client accounts end to end: strategy, execution, and results
- Carry the billables on your accounts, hitting utilization and revenue targets per client
- Own the P&L; per engagement: track margin, flag scope creep, control costs
- Make and own strategic trade-off calls: what to build,

defer, or push back on with a client
- Improve client performance outcomes across paid media, CRM, CRO, and platform transformation — not just delivering scope, but proving measurable business impact
- Build and own the client-facing reporting cadence: weekly/monthly performance dashboards, attribution analysis, and forward-looking forecasts tied to business targets
- Build and run the work yourself where we don’t have a specialist team
- Lead front-end platform migrations end to end — theme redesigns, re-platforming (e.g. Magento to Shopify), and martech stack overhauls — coordinating engineering, design, and QA across the full delivery lifecycle
- Brief, direct, and hold accountable the specialist teams executing on your accounts, including pushing back when their output isn’t moving the client’s numbers
- Identify and close upsell and expansion opportunities within your book
- Reprioritize workstreams in real time as client requirements, blockers, or business priorities change, across concurrent engagements
- Stay ahead of what’s changing in retail and translate it into concrete moves for your clients before they ask
- Report account health, billables, and financial performance to leadership on a regular cadence
- Surface client-driven insights and feature gaps to inform the roadmap for Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products

Qualifications

- 4+ years in retail, performance marketing, or ecommerce management, with direct accountability for revenue or business performance — agency-side experience a strong asset
- Demonstrated P&L; or budget ownership: margin tracking, cost control, resourcing decisions
- Hands-on experience with Shopify required — you understand the ecosystem, not just the surface

- Proficiency with Klaviyo or a comparable ESP for lifecycle and SMS marketing
- Comfort working in GA4 for performance analysis and attribution
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and/or Meta Ads — enough to brief specialists, evaluate their output, and spot when something isn’t working
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals — technical audits, on-page optimization, Core Web Vitals
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills: you build your own forecasts, performance models, and client-facing reports
- Deep hands-on expertise in at least one of: paid media, email and SMS marketing, CRO, or ecommerce and martech platform transformation — with enough fluency across the rest to direct specialists and judge their work
- Track record of growing accounts and driving measurable business outcomes, not just delivering on scope
- Comfortable building the work yourself, not just overseeing it
- Able to hold a room of senior client stakeholders and keep the relationship strong through hard conversations
- Strong project management skills: multiple concurrent clients, on time and on budget
- Retail or retail tech industry experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French is an asset.

Why Join Us

- Own a book of business outright: the strategy, the execution, the P&L;, and the results — from day one
- Work directly with C-levels and decision-makers at leading retail businesses
- See what’s working across a portfolio of retailers, not just one, and build pattern recognition no in-house role can give you
- Turn struggling businesses around and take them back to growth, repeatedly, across a range of retail models
- Influence the roadmap of Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products through direct, real-world client exposure
- Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy, performance-based environment where results are directly rewarded, and the company is growing fast enough that your scope grows with it
- Work alongside a team of A players where the bar stays high and everyone is visibly good at their job
- Five days a week together in our Old Port office — the work is better in the same room, and lunch is on us every Friday with the whole team
