As a Senior Site Superintendent, you will oversee the successful execution of ground up new build projects. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Our client is an established North American construction company with more than 30 years of experience delivering multifamily, commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects across Canada and the United States. The company has completed over 12,000 residential units, along with schools, office buildings, retail centres, and mixed-use developments. Known for its collaborative approach, they provided expertise in value engineering, cost-efficient design, and quality construction, working closely with clients and project stakeholders from concept through completion.

Description

- Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth project operations.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site to ensure a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve on-site challenges and provide practical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Manage project documentation, including permits, reports, and other required records.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

- Proven experience managing construction projects.
- Experience in leading new build ICI projects- warehouse experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work within tight project timelines.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
- A focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
