Build a career with Bayview! We are seeking a Service Advisor to play a key role in supporting our customers and service team. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is a confident, energetic, CUSTOMER FOCUSED member of the Service department.

The Role:

- Greet and WELCOME customers. Open Repair orders with accurate and thorough information, including the details of the vehicle concerns, to assist with proper diagnosis.

- Verify open warranty recalls or campaigns available for the customer.

- Confirm Warranty eligibility and process the warranty claims.

- Work with Service Foreman and technicians to maintain explicit communication with the customer and ensure that their concerns are addressed quickly.

- Maintain this communication with the customers throughout the repair process, including, the customer’s approval of the repair, an estimate of the cost and an expected time of completion.

- Ensure all charges are calculated and posted with accuracy to ensure timely close of Repair Orders





- Identify possible upcoming Preventative Maintenance services with customers and schedule for them.

- Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

- May include other administrative duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Foreman.

Requirements:

- Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Windows-based programs and MS Excel & Word.

- Minimum of 3 years Automotive / Truck dealership experience.

- Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment

- Cooperative and team-oriented personality with a professional positive attitude.
