Domtar is seeking talent to fill the position of Stores Person at the Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Mill in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

This job is Permanent Full Time.

The Stores

Person is responsible for moving products and materials to the designated locations in the Stores area to ensure that spare parts and inventory for the mill are accurately stored and available for the trades on request.

Person is also accountable for checking received orders and confirming that all inventory transactions are completed and documented. Ensure spare parts and operating supplies are secure and available on a timely basis while maintaining proper inventory levels for the entire site Maintains the Stores and inventory system to ensure the supply of goods needed to support maintenance and operations while maintaining minimum cost Minimize overstock and removal of obsolete/redundant parts and materials Perform other handling duties such as counting, weighing, and sorting Use a forklift for unloading and moving products when needed Scheduled on-call in the Stores department on weekends High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)



Forklift Operator Certification Warehouse Management training Previous inventory-related work experience is considered an asset Robust computer proficiency, including experience using SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook), with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing Flexible, well organized and able to multi-task Upon successful completion of training, employees may be eligible to transition to a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week Flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan with a health spending and personal spending account
