Site Superintendent – ICI Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead all in office operations for ICI construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million+. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing field execution, trade coordination, and site logistics. While not the main focus, prior experience with interior fit-outs or renovations will be considered a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work progresses on time, on budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Manage and coordinate all site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor site activities to maintain safety compliance under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Maintain accurate daily site reports, progress photos, and schedule updates.
- Resolve site-level issues quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions.




- Conduct site meetings and ensure clear communication between field and office teams.
- Review drawings and specifications to plan work sequencing and ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to align field activities with project goals.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI projects valued at $5M or more.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, construction best practices, and site safety regulations.
- Proven track record in managing complex sites with multiple trades and tight timelines.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and coordinate workflows effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using construction management software (Procore, BuildPro, or equivalent) is an asset.
- Experience in occupied site renovations is a plus.

Salary

$130,000-160,000 base plus bonus and advantages, dependent on experience.
