Role Description The Skilled Labour role at Astro Box Corporation is a full-time, on-site position based in Concord, ON. The individual in this role will support the production of folding cartons by operating or assisting with manufacturing equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Daily tasks may include setting up machines under supervision, feeding and stacking cartons, performing basic quality checks, and following detailed work instructions to meet production targets and safety standards.

The role involves collaborating with supervisors and team members, reporting any equipment or quality issues, and adhering to all safety, environmental,



and workplace policies. Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including potential overtime, and a focus on efficiency, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, or a similar industrial setting, with the ability to learn operation of production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and basic quality control skills, including the ability to follow work instructions and inspect products for defects.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity, with the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights safely, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, including safe material handling, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to company safety policies.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and coworkers in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and ongoing training.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in a carton manufacturing or print/packaging facility is an asset.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Concord, ON, and to adjust to shift schedules as required by production demands.
