Minimum of 2 years of software development experience in Unix/Linux setting. Experienced C/C++ programmer. Solid background in TCP/IP networking and multi-threaded programming.
Experience with email related protocols, such as SMTP, an asset.
Experience with high performance applications, an asset. Knowledge of Linux kernel and Linux security applications, a bonus. Proficiency with Linux development and debugging tools (GDB, GCC, Valgrind, etc.).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $117,000 - $143,000 annually.
