We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant/Patient Service Representative to join our team immediately in a full-time capacity. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression and guiding them through check-in procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate staff members and handling inquiries professionally
- Schedule appointments accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix, ensuring optimal patient flow
- Verify insurance information, update patient records, and process payments with precision and confidentiality
- Maintain organized front desk operations, including filing, data entry,
and managing office supplies
- Assist with patient intake forms, medical/dental terminology explanations, and documentation to facilitate smooth visits
- Support the clinical team by preparing patient charts, updating records in electronic medical records (EMR), and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Experience
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix is essential
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology enhances communication with patients and staff
- Demonstrated office experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Previous background in medical or dental office environments that involved administrative responsibilities is advantageous
- Proven ability to manage busy schedules efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
