Responsibilities Tasks - Complete and maintain station records, logs and reports

- Instruct apprentices
- Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures
- Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally
- Operate automated or computerized control systems
- Operate equipment in hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants




- Perform routine equipment maintenance
- Regulate and co-ordinate transmission loads, frequency and line voltage
- Regulate water levels
- Write plant or building operation reports Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses - Stationary Engineer 'B' - Refrigeration Plant Operator
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Forklift Operator Certification Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience - Ammonia refrigeration
