Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and concrete forming, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and restoration projects, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.

The Framer will play a key part in building durable structures, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering quality craftsmanship across all projects.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide framing and construction activities
- Construct and install wood framing, concrete forms, siding, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials or structures
- Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for foundation or structural work
- Assist with welding and woodworking tasks to ensure precise assembly of components
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, ensuring compatibility with original designs




- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, concrete forming, or related fields
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of siding installation, concrete finishing techniques, and restoration processes is preferred
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials regularly and work in various environmental conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience with woodworking or structural framing is highly desirable
