Strategic Sourcing Manager, Infrastructure & Operations

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Compensation: Starting at $50/hr The Opportunity

Our client, a leading Canadian financial services organization, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support its Infrastructure & Operations technology portfolio.

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, this individual will be responsible for leading complex sourcing initiatives, negotiating technology agreements, and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial value while minimizing supplier risk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement qualified who enjoys both strategic sourcing and hands-on execution within a large-scale enterprise environment undergoing significant transformation.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across infrastructure, operations, and technology services categories.
- Develop sourcing, negotiation, and contracting strategies for complex and high-value technology engagements.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with strategic technology suppliers.
- Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Partner with business, technology, finance, legal, and risk stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives.
- Support vendor governance and supplier management activities across key technology partners.
- Analyze supplier spend, contract data, and market intelligence to develop sourcing recommendations.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, and sourcing recommendations.
- Manage multiple concurrent sourcing engagements within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technology procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or vendor management.
- Experience negotiating infrastructure, cloud, managed services, and technology agreements.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, contract negotiations, supplier governance, and risk management.
- Experience supporting large enterprise technology environments.
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while working within a lean and fast-moving organization.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, or other procurement platforms is considered an asset.
- Financial Services, Insurance, or other regulated industry experience preferred.
