Responsibilities

Deliver safe,



engaging swim lessons using Lifesaving Society programs

Teach and demonstrate swimming skills and techniques

Provide clear feedback and corrections to support swimmer development

Maintain a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Communicate professionally with swimmers, families, and staff

Qualifications

Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Certification

National Lifeguard Certification

Bronze CrossCPO (Certified Pool Operator)

Knowledge of Swim for Life and Canadian Swim Patrol programs

Lifesaving Instructor or Examiner

Emergency or Standard First Aid Instructor

Instructor Trainer
