Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a System Validation Engineer in their Data Center Solutions Business Unit. As part of a dynamic team, you will focus on the integration and validation of System on a Chip (SoC) products. This role requires building comprehensive test plans and executing both pre- and post-silicon tests, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for industry-leading technology.

Key Responsibilities:



• Integrate prototype SoC hardware and firmware into functional solutions • Develop and document feature tests to validate SoC operations • Build and maintain validation infrastructure including FPGAs and software • Conduct tests in lab environments, finding and reporting bugs • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical activities

Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science • 3–10 years of silicon/SoC validation experience • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Tcl/Tk • Solid knowledge of Data Communication, Digital Design, and relevant protocols • Hands-on experience with x86 systems in Linux and Windows environments
