Lead Cafe Supervisor – 124th Street

Transcend Coffee is looking for a motivated Lead Cafe Supervisor to join our 124th Street location.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting a team, maintaining high standards, and making sure the cafe runs smoothly. The Lead Cafe Supervisor acts as the on-site leader when management is not present and plays an important role in supporting staff and delivering an excellent guest experience.

What You'll Do

- Act as the lead barista and support the team during busy shifts
- Delegate tasks and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly duties are completed
- Help arrange shift coverage when employees call in sick and management is unavailable on the weekends
- Provide feedback to management about staff performance and cafe operations
- Maintain high standards for drink quality, customer service, cleanliness, and overall cafe presentation
- Remake drinks and address quality concerns when needed
- Complete weekly coffee and supply orders and monitor inventory levels
- Complete weekly cashouts and prepare deposits

What We're Looking For
- Previous cafe food-service leadership experience
- Comfortable taking the lead and making decisions independently
- Strong communication and organization skills




- Able to delegate tasks while maintaining a positive team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow through on tasks
- Someone who takes pride in quality, cleanliness, and creating a welcoming cafe workplace

Availability Requirements This position requires a minimum of 4 shifts per week at our 124th Street location.

You must be consistently available for:

- Monday mornings
- Thursday mornings
- Saturday
- Sunday

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
