Join PixMob as a Technical Drafter, innovating the setup for live events while collaborating on technical integration. Work remotely or onsite to optimize equipment performance. Reporting directly to the Director of Technical Operations – Production, this role is essential for our touring teams.
Collaborate with Technical Leads to draft optimal installation points using 3D models and streamline complex projection systems. You'll support pre-production engineering, ensuring seamless integration and structural support for memorable events. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify optimal equipment installation points with 3D models
- Simplify and clean up 3D files using AutoCAD and VectorWorks
- Build previsualization files for remote programming
- Draft structural layouts for trusses and towers
- Support the creative process with projection surfaces and 3D models Requirements:
- Technical diploma in Design or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years AutoCAD and VectorWorks experience
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software preferred
- Solid understanding of stage structures and lighting
