Your contribution!

Reporting to the Senior Director – IT Infrastructure and OT, the Technician – IT will provide maintenance and support for the configuration of computers and will be responsible for problem solving and providing support to employees for software, hardware and networking issue.

Your day-to-day!

- Configure, install, and test, workstations, mobile devices and software for operational and administrative sites.
- Plan, collaborate on, and coordinate the installation and support of IT equipment with site representatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and information security requirements during installations and configurations.
- Perform upgrades and periodic maintenance of IT assets at operational and administrative sites, including updates, backups, and log reviews.
- Provide user support for operational sites through on-site and remote interventions.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security maintenance in accordance with corporate policies.
- Conduct the necessary research and troubleshooting activities to resolve issues, including liaising with vendors when required.
- Participate in the evolution of the IT infrastructure and contribute to various projects as needed.




- Collaborate closely with teams across different departments during incidents and problem resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and IT equipment standards.
- Coordinate support activities in the Vancouver administrative site and manage relationship with local executives to collect business needs and manage priorities.

Your skills, our requirements!

- College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience providing technical support in Windows environments.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and key management tools (Active Directory, Remote Desktop, etc.).
- Experience managing a fleet of mobile devices.
- Experience with Intune and FortClient VPN.
- Experience with PowerShell and software packaging is an asset.
- Experience managing wireless networks (controllers, security, SSIDs) is an asset.
- Experience with Apple systems and iPhone devices is an asset.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a structured environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a robust customer focus.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in English spoken and written – French an asset.
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience supporting Lenovo, Dell and Apple hardware.
- Experience using JIRA for ticket management.
- Experience using Confluence and SharePoint for documentation management.

- The position can be based in the company's Vancouver,



BC office.
- This position is a S3 level.

Pay Transparency Statement Compensation for roles at Innergex varies based on a wide range of factors, including skill set, education, and relevant experience. We are committed to pay equity and take internal equity among current team members into account when determining any final offer.

To support pay transparency, the hiring range for this position is $55 000–65 000 per year, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Your final base salary, if hired, will be determined by factors such as your skills, education, and experience, along with our commitment to internal equity.

Please note that it is not typical to hire at the top of the hiring range, as doing so limits opportunities for future salary growth. Innergex also offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
