Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, baked goods, and breakfast items, adhering to quality standards and food safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items when appropriate




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimal wait times
- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met

Experience

- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling enhances your ability to manage transactions confidently
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations
- Restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not essential; enthusiasm for serving customers is key
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high energy levels throughout shifts
