This is a structured training position aimed at completing competencies and skills within 18 months, including a minimum six-month consolidation period. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in acute clinical settings and excellent leadership abilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced nursing skills through structured training
- Work under supervision while progressing to autonomous practice
- Adapt to changing activity levels within the surgical unit
- Demonstrate excellent communication with team and patients
- Complete all required competencies within designated timeframe Requirements:
- Registered on UK NMC Register, Sub-part 1 or 2
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Completed or working towards Masters Level 11 education
- Extensive experience in multiple specialities at Band 5 level
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary Become a key player in the surgical unit while developing advanced clinical skills with NHS Scotland.
