Become a Transit Driver with Smithers Community Services Association, providing friendly and protected transportation in Smithers. Engage with diverse community members while gaining valuable experience in public transport. The successful candidate will engage in casual/on-call driving for the Smithers & District Transit program.

This role demands a strong commitment to safety and customer service while assisting passengers with various needs. You will operate transit vehicles according to schedules and maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled bus driver duties
- Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure confidentiality of client information
- Maintain a clean and functional bus at all times
- Provide assistance to passengers requiring support Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence with a clean record
- Experience with vulnerable populations preferred
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Foster community connections and make a difference as a Transit Driver for SCSA.
