You'll collaborate with postdocs and graduate students, utilizing skills in CAD, 3D printing, and coding. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your physics knowledge in a vibrant research setting while enjoying the supportive community on UBC's campus. Key Responsibilities:

- Design a novel recoil particle-identification detector
- Utilize CAD and 3D printing for project work
- Collaborate daily with DRAGON group researchers
- Maintain a detailed log of progress and findings
- Run tests to verify device functionality and response Requirements:
- 1-2 years in physics or engineering physics
- Experience with Python or C++ programming
- Proficiency in document processing and spreadsheets
- Familiarity with Mathematica is advantageous
- Strong interest in astrophysics and 3D printing This role offers a unique mix of research, design, and collaboration in an exciting scientific environment.
