The Role
We are hiring an experienced Class 1 or Class 3 Driver to operate a variety of units across our septic, roll-off, and water delivery services. No two days are exactly the same. You'll be on the road across Quesnel and the surrounding area, working directly with residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
What You'll Do
- Operate septic pump trucks to service residential and commercial septic tanks and holding tanks, including hose setup, pumping, and cleanup
- Deliver, place, swap, and pick up roll-off bins at homes, job sites, and commercial locations
- Deliver water to residential and commercial customers, including cisterns and tanks
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any defects
- Properly secure loads and follow weight limits and cargo securement standards
- Accurately complete trip sheets, logbooks/ELD records, timesheets, and inspection forms
- Communicate with dispatch throughout the day and adapt to schedule changes
- Provide friendly, professional service and take care of customer property
- Keep your truck clean, fueled, and in good working order
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and emergency calls
What We're Looking ForRequirements
- Valid BC Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement
- Clean, current driver's abstract (required at time of offer)
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience (septic, roll-off, or water hauling experience is a strong asset)
- Strong knowledge of pre-trip inspections and load securement
- Comfortable driving in Northern BC conditions, including snow, ice, and gravel/backroads, and chaining up when required
- Able to perform physical work outdoors in all weather, including handling hoses, bins, and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valuable communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work with septic waste in a safe and professional manner
Assets
- Experience operating vacuum/septic trucks or roll-off (bin) trucks
- Standard First Aid certification
- Mechanical aptitude and basic truck maintenance knowledge
- Familiarity with Quesnel and the surrounding area
- Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs)

- Competitive hourly wage: $28 – $40/hour
- Overtime pay in accordance with BC Employment Standards
- On-call premium: $50 per call-out, plus a minimum of 2 hours' pay
