Overview

we are seeking Locators and GPS Operators to start this September, Projects this season will be based out of Saskatoon, Humbolt, Lloydminster, and Northern Alberta Oil Sands.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Seismic, Leica GPS systems, and fundamental knowledge of the Alberta and Saskatchewan land systems. This position involves working in the oil and gas, and mining industry. These are field positions with requirements to work on the road in Alberta, and Saskatchewan for 24/4 rotations. The Work is outside, usually from an ATV/UTV, working during winter conditions.

Responsibilities

Locator: Locate and map all buried facilities, including pipelines, fiber optic, telephone, power, and water lines. Perform First calls and organize locate confirmations with stakeholders.

GPS Operator: Layout of Seismic source and receiver point locations,



surveying and marking access and hazards.

Qualifications

Locator must be a Certified Locator with References and previous experience.

Experience within the Seismic industry is preferred.

Using Leica GPS equipment.

GPS Operator: Experience preferred but willing to train if the applicant is a positive fit for our team and demonstrates the aptitude to learn quickly and work independently.

Pay: $275.00-$500.00 per day
