Eglinton Veterinary Facilities is seeking a Client Care / Patient Care Team Member to join our busy and growing veterinary hospital.
This hybrid position is ideal for someone who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on patient care. The successful candidate will split their time between supporting our reception team and assisting with patient care throughout the hospital.
Veterinary experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right individual who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
Client Care Duties
- Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answering multi-line phone systems
- Scheduling appointments and managing daily bookings
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records
- Assisting with client communications, reminders, and follow-up calls
- Using Avimark veterinary practice software
Patient Care Duties
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient handling and restraint
- Supporting hospitalized patient care and monitoring
- Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
- Maintaining hospital cleanliness and organization
- Assisting with laboratory samples and diagnostic procedures
- Ensuring patients receive compassionate and stress-free care
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary, medical, animal care, or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Compassion for animals and their owners
- Experience with Avimark is an asset but not required

Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
