Job Details The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Community Services department as a Visual Arts Studio Technician. Reporting to the Visual Arts Coordinator, this position will be responsible for administering the day-to-day operations, asset management, programming support, and stewardship of municipal visual arts studio spaces within the City of St.

Albert. This includes coordinating studio access, supporting the facilitation of license agreements, monitoring and supporting facility maintenance, and overseeing specialized equipment such as gas and electric kilns.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Fine Arts (preferably Ceramics) or related with 2 years of experience kiln technician, studio manager, or community arts space manager is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts or related is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.

Hours of Work Up to 20 hours per week.

Compensation





- The wage ranges from $32.13 - $38.37 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
- Candidates not meeting the full qualifications may be considered for a development prospect at a lower classification and salary.
