Rebelle Zine [re-BELL zeen] is a creative collective based in Toronto, Canada. Our multi-platform publication highlights diverse women and queer creatives and entrepreneurs.

The Rebelle Zine team is growing! We are looking for volunteers in the following roles. All roles are remote, unpaid, volunteer positions:

PROJECT MANAGER

This role is perfect for you if you have a spreadsheet for everything. You’re great at keeping track of moving pieces, connecting the dots between teams, and making sure projects keep moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead planning by scheduling team meetings and creating workback timelines
- Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to keep projects and timelines on schedule by conducting weekly check-ins to track task completion.
- Collect and synthesize team feedback to support yearly planning
- Other administrative tasks as needed

Experience/Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with solid time management skills
- Motivated and passionate about Rebelle’s mission
- Comfortable with Discord and Google Workspace
- Experience with workflow management integrations (i.e. Zapier) is an asset!

Commitment
- 5-10 hours/week




- Able to attend bi-weekly virtual team meetings

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Rebelle is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team! If graphic design is your passion, and you love to turn ideas into eye-catching visuals then this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

- Create graphics for the Rebelle website, social media, and other design materials that are in line with Rebelle’s branding and audience
- Collaborate with Social Media and Web teams to create and coordinate necessary assets
- Attend bi-weekly Graphics and team-wide meetings

Experience/Skills Required:
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and Canva
- Strong understanding of design and typography principles
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Up to date on current design trends
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Commitment

- 5-10 hours/week
- Able to attend bi-weekly virtual team meetings
