TTCI- BPC is looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team working the afternoon shift. The successful candidate will report to the Manager.
Responsibilities (Non-exclusive):
- Assist with the coordination of the Production Floor by utilizing company policies and procedures to assist in the communication of company expectations.
- Monitoring and maintaining activities of a fast-paced pick by sequence process.
- Coordinate the tracking and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the safety, quality, 5s, and productivity of the Production Floor. Develop and implement processes to optimize these areas of performance.
- Analyze data to improve quality and implement improvements.
- Support, train, and develop Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Team Members within their positions, including coaching, counselling, discipline and performance reviews.
- Support Plant Manager and Manager in overseeing section business activities, assist in development and act as liaison between Team Members and Senior Management.
- Plan, organize, facilitate, and run business meetings internally and externally where required.
- Provide performance management to the team by way of reviews, counseling, and objective setting, etc.
- Work with teams to achieve continuous improvement with strong focus on processes and procedures,
while promoting the group Kaizen program.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education in a business program is an asset.
- Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize numerous open items related to employee behaviors, customer/supplier relations, 3rd party logistics companies, and accounting request/demands.
- Ability to handle high stress situations due to tight industry timelines and fast paced just in time (JIT) work environment.
- Strong computer skills mainly with MS office
- Must work closely and maintain positive working relationship with senior management to coordinate and execute group efforts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be available to travel if required
- The ability to multitask and strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environment.
- Valid Forklift Certification is an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
