Night Shift Order Picker / Order Selector

We are hiring two Night Shift Order Pickers to join our fast-paced produce distribution team in Scarborough.

This is an overnight position. Applicants must be available to work Sunday night through Friday night. Please only apply if you are able to consistently work overnight hours.

Schedule & Pay

- Night shift
- Start time: between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Shifts are approximately 8–10 hours
- Approximately 44 hours per week
- Availability required Sunday night through Friday night
- Full-time, permanent position
- Starting wage: $18.00 per hour
- Location: Scarborough - Lawrence & Midland area
- Start: Immediately

About the Role

Country Boys Produce is a wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables serving restaurants and foodservice customers throughout the GTA.

Our Night Shift Order Pickers are responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for delivery. This is a fast-paced, physical position that involves working with fresh produce in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

Order picking experience is an asset, but we are willing to train dependable candidates with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

- Pick and assemble customer orders accurately using pick sheets
- Select fresh fruits and vegetables while maintaining a strong eye for product quality
- Record product weights, quantities and shortages accurately
- Check completed orders and paperwork for accuracy
- Conduct inventory counts as required
- Organize and prepare completed orders for delivery
- Load delivery vehicles with customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area




- Assist with other warehouse duties as required

Requirements
- Must be able to consistently work overnight shifts
- Must be available Sunday night through Friday night
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical work throughout the shift
- Able to work in a refrigerated/cold warehouse environment
- Dependable, punctual and able to maintain regular attendance
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Order picking or warehouse experience is an asset but not required
- Experience working with fresh produce is an asset
- Knowledge of specialty or exotic fruits and vegetables is an asset
