Warehouse Supervisor Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for warehouse functions. These individual monitors the daily activities of checkers, loaders and forklift drivers while ensuring the loading/unloading of all trucks are completed in an efficient and safe manner. Evaluates all aspects of methods of distribution supply chain with the goal of improving efficiency.

Ensures accurate handling of inbound and outbound product. The roles and responsibilities are defined below but are not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning daily labor requirements and ensure adherence to standards, policies, and productivity goals
- Analyze daily productivity data and drive improvement through RCA
- Provides leadership, direction and guidance to warehouse personnel
- Assist in implementing the policies and procedures that govern the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies
- Takes appropriate and effective measures to provide for the health and safety of employees
- Assists with preparation of department budget, monitors and controls costs
- Provide recommendations on process improvement and assist in implementation.
- Manage and supervise warehouse employees.
- Cross-train in all warehouse Team Lead functions on all shifts
- Supervision, motivation, and evaluation of Warehouse personnel
- Coordinate, assign, and review work, and establish work schedules.
- Participate in training, development, and discipline of warehouse personnel.
- Provide daily hands-on support for the department.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Ensure proper functioning of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain effective and consistent communication with other members of the team
- Inventory levels and cycle count accuracy.
- Customer order processing, packing slip generation for outbound shipments from WMS.
- Creating pick tickets / receiving slips for daily transactions.




- Month end internal reporting.
- Overflow shipping assistance. Creating shipment paperwork / labels.
- Confirming order accuracy for all outbound shipments.
- Complete order requests, customer programs, counts, display builds accurately and on time every time.
- Follow workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Follow workplace GMP and PIP policies and procedures.
- Ensure you understand all aspects of the warehouse business and accounts resulting in performing all requested warehouse tasks.
- Read and understand all company SOP’s.
- Show professionalism everyday towards all departments, staff, carriers, customers, and drivers. Attitude is expected to be positive, motivated, and focused always.
- Ensure that all employees are using proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Record and action any customer complaints.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management is an asset

Project Management or Continuous improvement certification is an asset

EXPERIENCE:

- 5 years of warehouse experience
- Relevant supervisory experience managing, coordinating and leading teams is required

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

LANGUAGE: English

COMPUTER: Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, WMS system

PERSONAL:

- Ability to work on strategic and tactical levels with excellent problem-solving skills
- People management skills, including the ability to explain ideas, delegate work, motivate, and lead and inspire members of the team




- Strong Leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient knowledge in vendor management
- Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
